Lifeline
In the short film "Lifeline," a Somali social worker faces a challenging assignment to help a young Somali man who is under house arrest and feels unjustly accused of a crime. As she navigates the complexities of his situation, the film delves into themes of identity and the struggles faced by Somali Canadians. Through their interactions, the social worker seeks to understand his perspective, while also confronting broader issues of injustice and belonging within the community.
